It's 22 minutes long, but it's a really good watch and well produced.

That Hot Rod channel is worth subscribing to. Find it's sometimes best to mute it when the guys are talking. They do come out with some bolloxs!

EDGE

Yeah, I watched that then scowered eBay for a bronco!

Motorama

quite enjoyed that, unhitched the Suburban from the trailer and went ot for the spin after as i hadnt driven it for ages and rarely do without towing

well it was a good truck to drive,

but it got too expensive to keep as fuel prices rocketed,
it needed to be on lpg , and i you need good reason to need to drive one,

when a trip to devon costs £130 in fuel it takes the fun out of it..

Ahh, yeah, I can imagine

It's such a shame that we cannot enjoy big engines in that way anymore

Fair play, but what a beast!

Motorama

I was lucky with the 'burb as it had just had a brand new LPG conversion done when i got it

It was on Ebay, i made a cheeky offer £2k less than the asking price late at night, woke up the next morning, which happened to be my birthday and they had accepted it. The best £4500 i have ever spent. The previous owner had paid £10k for it a year earlier then spent £2.5k on the gas conversion. The first owner from 99 to 09 was a big American church in London that used it to chauffer people around. Only had 62,000 miles when i got it 2 years ago, done 75,000 now

Andy

Bargain!! What a truck!

How does the petrol towing abilities compare to diesel trucks? What's the maximum towing weight that Surburban can pull?

Motorama

Doesnt have the torque of the diesel Rams ive had in the past but still does ok towing, if it fits on the trailer i'll tow it. The weight of it and the long wheelbase makes it nice and stable
