Can't have been very exciting

I fell asleep half way through

Andy

Wasn't really exciting last nights show. Hammond reviewing a Pagani that really was quite ugly, amazing engineering but still ugly. James May getting driven round in a Bentley on a Rally stage. Quite amazed Bentley let them have the car for that. Then Clarkson doing something, well, stupid!

A few laughs but nothing amazing. The highlight reel for the series shows they're going to do a Top Gear race with the new Shelby Mustang, and they'll be reviewing that new Viper thing!

Found The Wonders of Life more interesting, think its a sign of growing old...

I thought the second-half was great!

Actually laughed a lot with the P45 clip, just sillyness.

The bit in the Dragon's Den was fun too!

Jeremy, it's shit.

The Bentley on the Rally Cross stage was pretty impressive, BUT I thought the camera angles were disappointing for a show usually renowned for the camera work quality. There was too much of May's face and not enough of the actual track / driving to give you the idea of speed and proportions.

Totally agree with this, I did *sigh* a bit when I realised the first clip was going to be about a super-car hammering around the track. Great engineering, but a bit boring now.

Stayed awake long enough to see that, yes the outside isn't brilliant for a Supercar, but the inside is amazing, pity the camera work didn't really show that

Re, P45 ?  All it was, was a very cheap Quad bike fitted with some stupid bodywork and made road legal

Yes, but it was funny! It was never intended to be a serious suggestion.

It was just some light entertainment on a Sunday evening.

It was a laugh to watch him sneak-by the multi-storey pay barriers and start up the engine in the library, along with the Dragon's Den scene

Ok, yeah, Dragons Den scene was pretty funny. Just smacked a bit of running out of ideas though. I know it's a car show and that but the connection for the idea was a bit far fetched!

Big Mouse

Clarkson's bits were boring and brought nothing to the show imho

The bentley was awesome, out of our pockets yes, but what a piece of equipment to go a rally round in.

One of my fave bits ever... Funny how different people view it, but I actually cringed when he was on the A3.

I liked the whole episode, and I think the Pagani is a thing of beauty inside and out.

I glad other people did like it, I mean, we don't want it turning into Fifth Boring Gear, staring Tiff 'Annoying' Nedel.

In my opinion:

Fifth Gear = Factual Motoring Show
Top Gear = Entertainment Motoring Show
