Sounds good, hope it's a good job they do, guess it's a wait and see

Roadkill

Haven't been in years . . . . but I always thought it was a bit pikey looking considering the money they charged on the gate.

You should really get back there then. They've got a hell of a lot of competition now considering the new track in Sweden that wouldn't look out of place in the states!

As for the track, its been a long time coming. I think they've had an issue for a while with a bump appear about 2/3 down, plus they did dig up a section across the track.

Does mean they'll be probably running cars flat out down there up to Easter to get the rubber back on.

TBR know what they are doing, they've been testing the track for the last 18 months with various new compounds to get the right surface, and the crew will  work their nuts off to get it ready.

I've been to a couple of the so called top tracks in the us, you'd be surprised how shit they can be in places

Sounds good news for them, knew it was expensive but reading the article, 750k upwards to do the whole lot 'properly' is crazy....they 'ought to get teh local pikeys in for a few hundred lol!

Hopefully it be a good surface and keeps all the racers happY!

Track was finished on Sunday, now the long task of prepping it for the cars.

They reckon they can't do any sledding in freezing conditions and they've lost Monday and Tuesday to the weather. They also don't reckon the track will be running great until the main event.

I did see on Pistonheads HD Adam posted a great photo of how the track used to be, and how it actually goes uphill.
