Not sure how they managed that unless they weren't using a proper bottle, as the bust disc should have gone and vented the bottle long before the bottle ruptured...

FUBAR

Yeah, they MUST have had that setup with no pressure safety built in, as steve said, using some other kind of cheap (Chinese?) bottle.

Deserve what they got if that is the case.

Was that a Fox Body?
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

Roadkill

Probably using an O2 tank or something like that . . .

On a completely different note . . . looks like the guy's got 4-studs on that !?

I know some early Mussies were 4-studs but not Fox-bodys . . . ???

Definitely Mussie.  The infamous "5-point-0" is on the front fender.

The only early Mustang's that came with 4 stud axles were the straight 6s, the V8s were always 5 stud axles and is an easy way to spot the difference between the two or if someone has done an engine swap.

From Edge's thread:

Roadkill

Yeah . . . that's what I thought . . . weird though, as 5.0's were very common (or at least, I thought . . )

Also, I'm guessing only the V8's (5-studs) got the better axles / LSD's etc . . .

??

I would've thought if you're hitting the NOS you'd be wanting the V8 axles so would expect 5-studs on the rear at least.

But my knowledge of Mustangs is limited.
