Yeah, it worked really really well.

The Ruby went after about 4-5 months, the IPA after 4 Months and the Golden I'm just finishing off after just under 5 months.

The IPA, as expected, DID taste a lot better after 3 months . . . I purposely didn't really start drinking it until then.

My cider's maturing nicely, too.

I bottled it solely to use when I'm "out" .... But I've barely been anywhere this year and when I do go some place I'm normally driving !

I haven't tried any yet !

Loving the St Peters' Ruby Red at the moment.

Got the St Peters IPA in the bucket though I mistakenly put 23 litres of water instead of 19....

Still got one bottle of Wherry left (infused with East Golding hops) which have been in the bottle since January I think it was...  Nicely Matured

Best one by far, that.

I'm getting it again as one of my next batches.

Shame, keeping it strong certainly set it apart from most of the others . . . It did take A LONG TIME to mature fully though.

art b

ive not tried the kit st peters ,had it in pubs...

i have just done a beer kit,
a wilkos own brand bitter ,someone bought me ,
i kegged it a week ago,
tried a sample yesterday and its remarkably good for a 1 can cheap kit,

im leaving it in the keg tucked away until the xmas hostilities..

Yeah

I'll probably put it in the Grolsch bottles and leave it in the Garage for a couple of months, hopefully be ok...In the mean time I'll get another Ruby red on and barrelled..hopefully before the Honeymoon.

They stocking the St Peter's at Lakeland yet?

Yeah, In fact they're phasing out the "cheaper" kits and switching to St. Peter's kits . . . I like to think I had a hand in that.
