Has anyone seen MKC gritting yet this year?

I'm getting a new battery delivered tomorrow and want to take the car out.

This one, I probably could have found it cheaper had I hunted around but I needed it this week as I'm on leave to accept the delivery and there was an element of not being bothered to hunt as well.

Warning though this battery is the wrong size for the 3rd gen, its too long, the battery I had before was also too long but I went with it 8 years ago because of the higher capacity and CCA knowing that the car would be sitting over winter so thought it would fair better.  I think the subsequent 8 year life on a car that sits for 4-5 months and does approx. 1800 miles pa seems I might have been right...

So it doesn't sit quite right in the battery tray and requires a bit of 'packing out' of the battery clamp to make it hold.

On the + side, because there is air circulation under the 'wonky' battery seating it stops water getting trapped and rusting the battery tray...  The POR15 coating helps too
