A Few Miles!! (and update on Philo)

Well finally home after sorting our philo out with a replacement window for the Astro...

Thanks to debs, alex & jamie for the bed saturday night - most appreciated!

In total we done 600 miles in 2 days now!!

Swindon -> Birmingham -> Billing -> Luton -> Wollacombe -> Swindon!!!!

Poor phils van tho - sure there summat missing here:

Also the front drivers wheel a bit buckled and the tyre got some nice slashes in (from where phil tried to avoid the crunch) - best bit - other person didn't even stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All occupants of the dohnut wagon OK but obvioulsy a bit shocked by it!!!

On sat phil & parents on route to wollacome for a weeks hol - going round a very tight corner and a motorhome coming the other way and phil tried to swerve onto pavement to avoid him but couldnt (motorhome was right over phils lane i think he said) - mirros colided and when the motorhome mirror sprang back went right through the side loader window!!

twat behind the wheel just kept on going!!!!

left phil with a bent track rod, busted winda and mirror and a few more scratches etc!!!!

Trouble is - if it were the maro it prob be OK as it was the mirror on teh camper that did the damage so with the maro being lower...........

well.. back home!

all damage repaired, final damage report was...

broken window
broken mirror
bent track rod end
bent wheel
trashed tyre.
chilli pot lid M.I.A.

the AVO / MKB guys realy came through, and everything was sorted for about £200

had a great meal with clive (and Mrs) T (AVO) and ina and Vicky Page on sunday evening..

van is staying down in devon for another week with my brother, as its going to be the family taxi while his inlaws are down there with him...

oh well..... these things happen..
