After getting hold of Desktop Dyno 2000 and running a few simulations i was not convinced about the output of my 287. The software left to many un answerd questions as the amount of input data was limited. After searching the web i found a much better program. Virtual engine dyno is acurate usually within +/- 5% which is a lot better than desktop dyno 2000

As usual none of the parts needed for the 287 were there so all the information was input and the relevant parts built.

Here are the printouts of the predicted power

and here is the build sheet

I was a little amazed by the figures considering the size of displacment so i called my engine guy to check. He assured me that it was posable for my motor to make that much power especial as it is gonna be a high reving motor.

Thank god i have that LSD looks like its gonna have to be fitted and perhaps a traction system from titsy to help get the power down

Yeah, those little 235's are gonna be smoking !!!

And those little drum brakes are gonna be smoking, too.

yup willwood 6 pots up front and twin 2 pots on each rear but need 18" wheels to get the rotors in.

I'd like discs on the Caddy . . . Nothing crazy just something that won't fade . . . . and only on the front . . . I think the rears would be too much of a headache.

Incursus

So exactly what info do I need from Andy to get all the data I need for that dyno program?

List it here and I'll ask him I don't wanna miss anything out...
