He's welcome to whatever gas comes out of my car when I remove the air con.

kempston rads in bedford do a complete air con service for £47 at the moment, not just gas, but changing the system il, and de bugging the condenser..

all air con systems should be serviced every 4 years or so, including re gassing the system.

A guy here at work has just taken his Car into a Place Called MK Gearbox Centre who also specialise in Air-Con. He has an R12 system on his Pajero (Which turned out to be broken so they only charged him £20 for the testing) & they do a Gas called RS24 which is a direct replacement for R12 and doesn't require the new fittings etc that are needed for R134.

They are located here:

Tavistock Street, Bletchley.
They can be contacted on 01908 644446
Aparantly its about £80 for a complete re-gas & system check.

I've been told R134 can wear out old converted R12 systems over time too so this looks like abetter option.

They're not actually right where that circle is, they are at the other end of the little industrial bit. Still very close tho.
