I can highly recommend Pipecraft in Basildon Essex, did my first Camaro exhaust and did the GMC about two months ago.
They are not the cheapest but they are the best !

NB : They only do thick grade mild steel not stainless steel

What do you need doing exactly?

EDGE

i have a set of long tube headers going on, which ill be doing i expect.. then from the H pipe back saleen use borla mufflers, i want to replace them because they are knackered... with flowmasters, but the flowmasters are way bigger in case size, so the pipes from the h pipe to the mufflers need changing a bit, then i want the muffler to tip part bent to fit the new location of the mufflers.... make sense ?

nope but not much does today...

Finlay

Do you know anyone with a Mig or Tig welder?

Buy some bends and make ya own.... Save some money and do the job right!!!

or

How about Rocky for the welding ...... and some quality Stainless Bends .... and box's

I think theres a place called something like http://www.dynoflow.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.dynoflow.co.uk Talk to them nicely and you can have trade discount on anything you need to do a better job for less

..lol

Rocky

I was going to say if you get the pipe off this guy called Finlay,
You could tack it up yourself if possible and i can Tig weld it for you.
I can do the fitment cutting etc but couldnt give an idea on cost until its started would give you a discounted hourly rate like the others though.

You could try GDS in brackley, i think i gave you there number when you were after the pipe for the trofino our what ever that thing is called. These guys have been around for a long time and specialise in race cars and one offs.

Alternativly i have another mate who ian has met this guy builds exhausts for the F1 boys and the WRC teams, dont bother with stainless to heavy inkenel is what you want. He gave ian a piece of that and a piece of S/steel to see the difference in weight almost half

I will dig out his number when i get home this guy is a welding machine infact probably one of the finest in the country. He has wored at GDS on and off over the years and he built all the water and exhaust systems for the DB7's and XKR's used in the bond film when they changed them over to ford v8's

There's a place in Aylesbury and another not soo good in St Albans. The shops are called Top Gear and they custom fab exhaust in stainless steel using Powerflow mufflers.

My brother had one on his Land Rover 90 V8. It's really well made but they use a crush pipe bender not mandrel.

Also the prices seem to be getting more and more expensive.

Personally I'd look at getting an exhaust from the US. They tend to work out cheaper than getting one fabbed over here, plus they fit no problem.

Are you replaceing the mid pipe also?

Prochamber is probably the best mid pipe in terms of sound and HP. David Vizard has done a lot of good work on this. Failing that, it's a toss up between X and H pipes. H's tend to offer better under the curve performance and more old school muscle car sound. While X pipe's generally make a little better PEAK numbers and offer a more exotic racey sound.

There's awebsite where you can here clips of different exhaust. It's something like mustangexhausts.com

Failing that ask at http://www.stangne.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.stangne.com they should be able to help you out.

For the stang I always like the SLP Loudmouth when combined with CATS and a H pipe or Prochammber, very old school and loud. But might be a little too much for some.

Magnaflow make quite a nice setup as do Flowmaster.

problem being... is i REALLY want to keep the part that goes from the mufflers  to the tips.. and keeping the tips is a MUST.. there are no alternatives to me

If i can get something fabbed from the end of the new h pipe that positions the exit of the mufflers where they need to be fo the rear section to fit.. all would be well in EDGE-land...

im surethey can do it... well.. i can probably do it myself with enough parts and bends but its a case of getting under the car far enough to do it... its a million times easier when you can get the car off the floor on a ramp....  i really should buy one of those with the amount of time mine seems to be in pieces...
