4th Gen Camaro Parts Info

OK we going to send vickys car in for a full service soon so need answers to the following please  (its a 3.8 V6 - 1996 model)

1 - How much engine oil does it take?
2 - How much gearbox fluid does it take?
3 - Are Champion RS14YC6's ok as replacement plugs?
4 - Does it matter what HT leads i get?

More then you'd think . . When I did my 3.4 V6 I was amazed how much it took . . . - buy 2x 5L cans as one won't be enough.

Champion plugs are Cr@p, IMO !

I'd go for the equivalant NGK ones.

IMO, No.  You really don't need MSD 13mm O/D ones for what your using it for . . . Although getting a pre-boxed kit ensures they'll all be the correct length.

For service bits I'd call JWR and US Auto and see who is cheapest.

1  - 4.5 qts (4.26L if they mean US qts, and 5.12L if they mean Imperal qts)*
2  - 5 qts fluid and filter change (4.73L if they mean US qts, and 5.69L if they mean Imperal qts)*
3  - Champion RS14YC6's will work fine, but for pennys more you can get platinum plugs (Champion 3013) that will last a lot longer than standard plugs... 4  - Don't cheap out on leads, but there is no need to go crazy...

I only say about the plugs cos i already got them here (along with a few other bits from mr comer!!)

Will get a set of ACDelco's then i think for leads as fairly normal, good quality products!!
