I washed the chavscort on wednesday as it was beyond filthy, got in it to drive over to buckingham yesterday and i can hear a rumbling. I figured it was a wheel bearing and probably me being over the top with the jet wash so today i pulled the rear wheel and bearing off the side the noise was coming from. re packed the bearing as it did seem a little low on grease. re assembled and went for a drive. Nope still got the damn noise so am guessing its the front thats gone. Well i found a quick fix simply turn the radio up and the noise goes. guess i need to get a new bearing when i get back to work next week

Well that and the cable ties

I also tried to find the leak that is soaking the boot carpet, swapped the gaskets on the rear lights and tightened them down good and proper so will have to see if that solves the problem

Scrape a bit off and put it in a pot of formaldehyde.

I took one of my old motors to my mechanic enquiring about a very worrying front end rattle......he couldn't be bothered to work that day, literally, so he told me to turn the radio up.....I did that, and it worked!

I then sold it to my ex, rattle got worse, we split, then it cost her £600!

morale of the story.....dont buy a motor off me.........or date me
