The definition of lucky remains, for me, the video image of that guy driving his car over that bridge in IRAQ during Gulf War 1.0 "Saddam takes Kuwait" when the Americans dropped a smart bomb and the bridge blows up just as he drives off it...

However, that was indeed one lucky dude.

I think the lucky bit was going through the barrier one side, making it over that recess.

Landing safely one the other side on four wheels was a given after the first bit !
