yup screaming rocks. Some of the smaller V8's can rev quite high, i know my 287 should rev well into the 6500-7k mark Nascar sound for teh win !!!!!1111

As far as revs go, my Camaro's quite happy up to 5K . . . She's passed her peak power by then, though . . .

The 'maro is limited to 6000rpm... Anything much above that and the trans $hits itself...

well, it kinda does but its different becuase its DOHC, well, one cam per bank, so it sounds very smooth... ive got a video somewhere....

The Caddy makes peak power at 6,250 but according to some peeps in the States will rev up to and beyond the 7,000rpm on the rev counter.  You have to do it in top gear though as otherwise the ecu forces a change up at 6,500 no matter what gear you've tried to lock it in.

Sounds mint from inside the car at any rate.
