1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)

It looks like the auction site for jap cars. Anythiong over 2 years old has to be sold or have a new engine fitted from memory. Dave redbourne would be the guy to ask as he buys from the jap auctions on a regular basis

1996 Camaro z28 28k miles
option 1 price: £4100
option 2 price: £4990

not a bad price for option 2 which is in the UK registered and SVA'd

Roadkill

Bonsai, I believe, advertise alot on Autotrader . . . I've noticed several adverts use "Library" pictures and sometimes the pictures don't match the description - Eg. A Third Gen Firebird using a Forth Gen picture was a recent one.
Also the cars aren't hardly ever actually in the country . . . So beware !

The reason why most Jap imports are ten years old is because they don't require an SVA test before registering just an MOT

Also as stated the JAP version of the MOT gets progessively harder the older the vehicle gets, requiring all the suspension and brake components etc to be replaced even if they look and work OK

I was under the impression it was every 7 years which is why they come up for auction at 7 and 14. The reson why dave buys cars that are 10 years old is because they dont have to be SVA'd in this country after that age.
