I always tend think that Jeza is just an over paid spoilt car journalist, although I find "some" of his Top Gear antics amusing.
He's on the telly again tonight BBC2 20:00pm in a WW2 documentary about a daring "mission impossible" raid to blow up some lock gates
However the the Sunday Times has labelled it " Documentary of the Month "
Not my sort of thing but I think I'll have gander

i actualy think clarkson is really quite a lot better than we like to give him credit for, read some of his books, they are an absolutely riveting read...

Jo

I agree....Ive read nearly all of them, and they aren't all about cars, alot of other vehicles and history is used too, very good, light reading.

FUBAR

Might be worth a butchers that, apart from anything I like learning things about WW2
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

300bhp per ton

I like this sort of program and history and all I can say is JC was the ideal presenter for it. Brining a sense on realism and a personal touch as opposed to the dry monotone commentry you often get.

Yeah I'm a big Clarkson fan and have most of his books too.

I'm sure the Top Gear bravado is largely for show and the fact that his general arrogance and ability to upset people is what makes him so successful.

He's hardly going to give that up and become as boring as the others is he?
