After reading Edge's £6K Astra VXR valet post, I thought it was about time to bring the Panda's engine bay back up to scratch

Fair doos, it does look better with the colour now as you say,

with all that black plastic it did look a bit like someone had left the engine in the box when it was put in the car

More to point it only took 6 hours not £6K

Finished detailing the Camaro last night, off to work under the GMC !

It also has two cup holders in the front centre consol and one in the rear which have these crap very cheap paper/felt coasters :

As you can see they are falling apart, so I'm working on some replacements which I'll encapsalate in plastic.

The battery box was well rusty so I removed the battery and went to work with a stiff wire brush, followed by a dose of black Smoothrite
