Rapidly moving up the list, the Humber's rear was intented to be a BBQ.

It's final position has changed, but for now I'll be happy getting it back home . . .

The bodywork is minimal but it's completion depends on the extention I'm building . . . .

The first step is does it fit through the house / garden

Roadkill

No it doesn't.

I already know that.

But i'm an engineer - I've found a way round it.

ianjpage

I'm glad I'm not a removal man. It will be a nightmare when you move house.

Sounds daft, but I actually know someone who built and F1 stock car in his back garden when he was 18, then realised he couldn't get it out.

Made the local news when he hired a crane to do it for him!!

Roadkill

The BBQ's home (albeit quite damaged after its stay in the Barn )

Due to this damage it's now become much more of a bigger job, needing filling and panel work, whereas originally the rear end was straight and sound.

It has been "test positioned" in the back garden and work will commence (ironically) in Winter when I have the time.

I hope to throw a BBQ next year at the start of show season to mark its completion.

Won't filler fall out with the heat???

The actual BBQ section will be internal, but separate (and insulated).

The reason for this is so I can use standard Celly paint opposed to HT paint.

O.K, Update . . .

Kind of . . . .

Extensive work has been going on in my back garden and the area in now cleared ready for ground works to commence.

Before actually starting the BBQ itself I need to create a platform on which it'll sit and also a brick wall for it to butt-up to.

It's in hand.

lol must be a quite day at work then for all these updates
