Just read this on Sky news. One of the cars from Knight rider is being sold for £76000

Quoting: Sky News

The 1980s show featured David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a crusader for good.
But his futuristic car KITT also became a star and one of the models used in the series is now being sold for £76,000.
In the show, KITT - officially named Knight Industries Two Thousand - could talk, fly, fire smoke bombs, launch a flame-thrower and hit speeds of 300mph.
Sadly, these high-tech features are not available to the buyer but it famous red scanner light on the nose does glow and make a humming noise
The Pontiac Trans Am up for grabs is one of only four "camera cars" used for close-up shots with Hasselhoff.

no ta.....Not even road legal....for that price!!

Even if it has been on TV, Once it's sat next to all the others in the show field it would soon blend in!

HardRockCamaro

It may not be road legal because 20odd first from the factory, maybe even VINless, Firebirds were delivered to the studios.
The engines on the stunt cars (but not teh camera cars) were replaced with tuned engines (inc one big block) and the brakes modified to have individual control of each wheel.

As a camera car it must be to do with lights, I fail to see why it won't pass smog...

The original scanners on the front required mains power...
