Still too much, basically because he spent a shed load of money on the Chavalloy wheels/tyres and he thinks he is going to get the money back
In reality it's probably added about £150 max to the value of the car

Going by autotrader prices £1500 seems the norm for that spec.... though probably on a good starting price for an auction.

If it was £1,500 (no reserve) I think he may get one bid and get rid of it.

Err no he didn't!! he fitted those because the previous owner fitted wheels that were too big for the car.

it might be a bit odd, but the starting a 99p really does help your bidding, even if you have a high reserve.

for a guideline on car prices, ebay prices will be generaly at or below trade, so you can knock a good chunk off the private price
