Yeah, but it's not exactly the same kind of crash as before.
Hit another car, back to the pits to repair it and then carry on.

The BBC have put that out because The Sun saw fit not to let the truth get in the way of a good story... He was actually punted off the track by another car while overtaking on a corner... And even the BBC have quoted the car's value incorrectly... It was a production car that had done 40,000miles and then been stripped of glass and interior, fitted with a rollcage, seat, harness and lexan all round... BMW donated some spares including 4 gearboxes and off they went...

I was at Silverstone Friday evening for night qualifying working with the presentors and crew as Racelogic were providing datalogging for the team. They finished 3rd in Diesel which was impressive considering the presentors did the majority share of the driving over the stig and none of them had any real prior racing experiance.

BTW, look out for the name markings and flags on the side of the car when it airs, it's quite entertaining... Poor May...
