Yah I agree..  Ive thought about going to the source and importing one over myself but when you ad taxes, shipping etc it ends up being about that anyway..

1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)

Motorama

That's prolly an $8k to $10k truck in the US. Due to the higher import duty (22%) we get caned for when bringing in trucks, then the SVA, let alone the hassle and the wait you'd do well to bring one in like for like for less.

There are so many trucks over here already its a buyers market with some decent deals to be had.

My daily driver and tow truck is a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab and i didnt pay much more than that 99 for it.

yorkshirespud

All this is exactly why I imported my own myself

philoldsmobile

doesn't really do it for me i'm affraid...

cant quite sus driving around in a posh builders truck..
