Been working on the kettle tonight, I eventually got the rear brake pedal adjusted to remove some of the slack.
However then the rear brake light wouldn't work, I had to remove the complete foot rest hanger and loosen the fuel pump just to get to the switch

Harley's may be crude but at least they aren't assembled by stunted dwarfs with hands the size of an average 5 year old
According to the workshop manual there are 23 special tools for maintaining / dis-assembling different parts of the bike

PAH!! i completely stripped the GPz using the factory toolkit!

there wasn't any fasteners on it that Kawasaki didn't provide a spanner for!

ok, so i replaced some of the M6 screws on the bodywork with nice stainless steel button heads... no problem, an ikea 4mm allen key was a nice nickel / clear passivate finish, and slipped into the toolkit along with the stock tools, so i can still remove the side panels without any extra tools!

The Kettle is 186kg ( wet with a full fuel tank )  and 52bhp, stats are :

1/4 mile: 12.7 sec @ 102.97 mph (12.89 sec @ 99.87 mph*)
0-60mph: 4.0 sec (3.95 sec*)
Measured top speed: 115 mph

both comparative flyweights against arts bandit then!

he'll have to wait untill he's run in before he can pass the ol duchess too! the ol slappers acceleration at 10,000 rpm quite suprised him i think!
