Remember the typhoon..........

well had interesting email yesterday from the guy i sold it to - seems me & mr R were right about it having engine mods....

He is in the middle of stripping it down and rebuilding it...apparently and this is what he said:

"Engine has been rebored to .030 over (actually 4.029") makes it just over 4.4ish litres, and rebuilt with TRW pistons and completely sprayed red and it's been fitted with a larger charge air cooler, slightly larger Mitsubishi turbo and additional electric oil pump with remote pressure guaged filter and Earl's braided oil hoses to name a few modifications."

No wonder why it seemed a wolf in sheep clothing!!

cars like that can be pretty tricky, without knowing what parts are where, you can have major issues with spares..
