That's a freeky hybrid. From different angles I can see bits of Corvette (Obviously), but also 1st Camaro, 2nd Gen Firebird. The back window looks familiar too.

Don't like the mid bonnet lump though, they could have done much better than that.

Rob

Yeah, seen that in a book of concepts.

Maybe there would have been no stingray corvette....

They used the name "Banshee" again in 88 for another concept....

A few more drugs taken for this one me thinks

Just goes to prove John Delorean was ahead of his time, note the straight 6 instead of a V8

I like it but i can see why it never made production, far too similar to the Corvette

I know what you are saying, as I thought exactly the same thing.  However, this pre-dates that shape 'vette - 1964.  A quick google shows that shape didn't arrive unti '68.

Although it didn't make it to production, I don't think there's any denying that a lot of it's features were used elsewhere in later cars.

Roadkill

The Ar$e-end is hideous.

Those lights shout "Datsun" at me.

From all my reading Pontiac was pillaged by the other divisions for the good parts it had developed.

philoldsmobile

i cant help thinking its probably smaller than the vette?

the front really reminds me of the opel GT

If you look closely the roof line is higher than Corvette also.

This is a good example of why cousins shouldn't marry!!
