yup, thats about exactly what happened.. the regs state that non flammable oil should be used, but the Estonians cheaped out and used cheaper flammable hydraulic oil..



the worst irony is that as the ride descended due to the damaged hose the oil was spraying onto the fire, meaning it was bringing the gondolas down into a dramatically growing fire...
