Dont suppose any of you know a good builder or brick layer locally?

F Body

Afraid not, I had a really good chap but when I asked him to quote for knocking a hole through the bedroom wall and installing another bathroom.
Because he was busy it took about two months for him to come and look at the job and after about another two months waiting for the quote, I decided to do the job myself.

First time I'd put a doorway and lintel in but it wasn't that hard, took me about six months to finish the project. That was doorway, electric shower with 40 amp electrical feed/rcd from the fuse box two floors below, toilet , bidet , wash basin , electric heater and new lights etc.

Something about builders that just makes them unreliable in one way or another

builders generally dont need to work far from home , so it would have to be someone local tbh,
recommendation is the only way to go though,

Next on the list is to tile the floor in my garage with industrial rubber tiles. I have a side room that my roll cabs will go into leaving me the full floorspace which is 10' x 17' not bad for a modern build
