f BT are any good, they wont stop your email address strait away.

I switched from BT to NThell ( Virgin ) about 3 years ago and my BT e mail address still works

I used it this morning for a junk mail link, basically anything that requires an e-mail address that might involve junk mail goes there

has itr been switched orf then??

BT have pulled the plug on the internet - but I still can get emails - via Yahoo.

I plugged in the new router and connected to it last night no problems . . . . don't know if I did it right or not . . . it seems to be working but not sure what else needs doing.

OK sounds good then - all we prob need to do is check that it is Sky providing it, setup your & sammy's new email accounts and config outlook to use them then you can start changing things over to new addy!!

About a fiver a year depending on exchange rate.

Just pick whateveryoulike.com or .co.uk or whatever and then buy the email forwarding to go with it for another £3 or so a year

I would then send an email to you at

whateveryouwant@yourdomainname.com

I've done the domain thing for years (for as long as I've had email).
Seen as dad pays for @ 1stnight.co.uk I just use that.  tis great as you never have to worry about changing your IPS.

edit:  though not the coolest of domain names, I grant you
