Sheet size is nom. 1000 x 2000 mm.

Thickness is 6mm (5.9mm) O/P or 7mm (6.9mm) over pattern.

All good, clean, un-drilled, un-used.

Each sheet weighs approx. 33kgs and has a current scrap value of around £20 / sheet.

I have around 17 of them - all for sale.

Collection only - £65 per sheet - And trust me, you won't find the same cheaper ANYWHERE !

Maybe able to do a bulk deal - Cash preferred.

I've spoken to one of my contacts, he'll let me know.

How easy is it to cut this stuff?

Ask Phil - he has an appropriate sized cutting device at his work!!!

Best done by a Guiliotine if available.

I've cut it using an "Evo" saw (basically a circular saw with appropriate blade) which was quite simple - albeit noisy.

I've also cut it using a 230mm Angle Grinder - although, being ally it tends to clog and separate instead of spark and cut.

Most panels on the MKB BBQ were cut using a grinder.

I suppose a reciprocating saw could also be used . . but you'd need a blade with the correct TPI to chew though 6mm.

Jamieg285

I've got the perfect project for a sheet of that (although probably only half a sheet is required), but there's no way I can afford £65 just to tart up my tools trolley!!

Need any spare car parts?

55starchief

Still have some evo blades at the barn but not sure what condition they are in

Just had some bint ask if the £70 buy it now was for all 16 sheets.

Err, yeah, sure - £70 for over half a tonne of ally.

On the plus side I've got a guy coming down to pick up 6 sheets on saturday.
