I don't believe it

On Monday I ordered the new tax disc online for the Camaro and it arrived today

You'd think that with all their electronic databases that they could manage to get the tax disc right

Surely the database tells them it's red 99 Camaro Z28

How come then they send me a homosexual blue tax disc

I am thinking of colouring it red with a red marker pen

The question is " Would it be illegal "

Rob

Paint the car to match.......

i would guess so yes as the colour is used (as far as i know) to help work out when it expires (so i was told once!)

Flip Martian

A bit of red tinted plastic over the disc. Or whatever colour you mix with blue to get a red. Sorted.

If you colour it in then it would be illegal as you have tampered with it; putting it behind a red tint would be OK I think but would likely get you pulled over a lot

Roadkill

So the tax disc is supposed to match the colour of the car ?

As a sidenote my company's now making dies to cut tax discs - I doubt we'll be sent material samples, though.
