The cars on the road should be booked by the police for obstructing the highway, that'll soon put paid to it...

The sheer mindless stupidity that is the average joe worries me greatly.  Seriously.  Mankind is doomed...

Just cycled past the petrol station on the way into work and it's dry

I'd therefore assume that the other two luton east petrol stations will also be empty by now

Drove past the petrol station a little while ago.....................

Looks like the station isn't helping much, they closed half the pumps.

OK, if they were all open they'd run out quicker, but at least they'd keep most of the traffic off the road.

That'll be because they always run out of Diesel first

I read that a station in Exeter has put his price up to £1.99 per litre to try and stop people panic buying.  He said he figures at that price people will only buy it if they genuinely need it.  Not a bad idea to be fair to him (he says the price will drop as soon as he gets a delivery) and anyone buying at that price will get £24 off their next MOT with his voucher so local people won't financially lose out in the long run (in fact they may end up better off).
