O.K -

'95 LT1 into a '83 Z28 -

Fairly simple.

Finding appropriate headers for LT1 -

Again, fairly simple.

Finding appropriate Longtube * headers for an LT1 in an '83 Camaro **

FEKKING DIFFICULT !

Now add to the equasion a manual transmission !

Notes :

* = Longtubes create MAJOR ground clearance issues - making most manufacturers' offerings undesireable.

** = In order to fit Gen I headers to a Gen II block WITHOUT major port interference you need 1.75" primaries . . . not many manufacturers offer them !

Oh, and out of the two companies offering suitable solutions, SLP, have stopped making them and Stainless works' headers clash with the T56 !

I've put a Tech question into my good friends at Spohn . . . .

LOL custom spohn headers for teh win!!!!!!!1111111

What about the tuby headers will they not work better? i bet the cost of that tuby kit would be about the same as custom headers

Roadkill

Not far off - but the difference in quality is obviously the major factor.

I'm looking at N/A first . . . if it's not cheaper then I'd be silly not to TT . . . even if I'm running (very) low PSI.
