Yeap, we got a new Rabbit yesterday

He is a French Lop Rabbit, which is one of the larger rabbit breeds.
When fully grown he can weigh up to 12 pounds (Our last Rabbit was a Dwarf lop and they only go to 4 Pounds in weight)
The ears can be 11-15 inches long.

We are currently thinking of calling him Leo - although this is not completely decided yet. Any suggestions would be helpful

He is going to be 12 weeks old on Wednesday (Born on 9th July)
He is already the same size as a dwarf lop rabbit - we met his Mum and Dad yesterday when collecting them and they were huge!!
He has still got quite a lot of baby fur at the moment, so he is really soft.
His tail is about 2 inches long as well

Got a great pic this morning.
We have a friendly cat that visits us every morning.
Cat was back this morning hiding behind the hutch.

Went out and said hello to Leo and the cat, (and make sure Leo wasn't too scared of the cat as he hasn't seen one before)

Then took this

Blimey, 12 wks old - what a huge rabbit!

Flopsy?
Cotton-tail?
Killer?
Giganticus?
Theodore?
Pyjama-case?
Cat-killer?

Maybe not...

Amey

Just taken him for his 1st vacination.
He is def a he (wasn't 100% sure).
Vet has given him a cleanbill of heath as well.

With the carrybox he curently weighs 4.15kg
The box weighs about 1kg
To compare our dwarf rabbit, fudge, was 3.85kg with the box when fully grown

The last Rabbit we had was called Rambo

He was a large white rabbit that would sit in the corner of the cage and sort of box your hands away if you tried to get him out

Not sure about "Leo" can you think of anything else that is small and sort of cute

Shouldn't have it been called Rocky, then ? - Large, white, boxing out of a corner ?
