TBH im busy with work as i know a few others are and think that combined with lack of money, crap weather is malking it uber quite

I was going to post the same, this forum is especially quiet, and some others are too...

With all the credit crunch stuff I thought ppl would be staying home and using the interwebs because it's free, but then again, whenever I go out, the roads and malls are packed so I'm beginning to wonder if the media is lying to me...

I am posting this from home in my lunch hour.

My work have locked down the internet in an attempt to raise productivity and reduce the amout of time wasted on the internet.

Is it going to work?

NO. So far this year we have lost overtime and the big bonus we normally get. So the one thing we had left was the fact that we could work and occationally browse the net. Now that final 'perk' has been taken away causing an unhappy work force. And what happens when you have an unhappy workforce? You have a high turnover of staff leading to a decline in the quality of work. - Ar well, their choice, going to start looking for another job..

I cant see myself posting on here much now

Hmm yeah wonder how long though going on what you saying the other day.

In a way im in a lucky posiytion - Im the one responsible for firewall / internet access at work so no worries for me on what i can / cant see

First time I've been on in a while - been preparing for my band's tour. We're off for the 1st night on Wednesday - York. Then Glasgow, Brizzle, 2 days off, then Guildford, Hertford, Portsmouth, London, Brum and Manchester.

Totally knackering I'm sure - but can't wait!
