there was no way this one would have taken any track abuse, its sills were coming off in lumps.. it needed 2 sills which would have cost 6 times what i paid for the car..

to be honest, it's one of the best cars i ever had.. its not cost me a single penny over the year ive had it, and if i make any money at all from the bits ive taken off i'll be in profit...

by the by, if anyone needs any bits from a mk5 escort or mondeo td please point them in my direction, I removed most parts before having the car scrapped. I have the alternator, starter motor, turbo, intercooler, manifolds and all sorts. All to be sold on the cheap!

Not when it wants inners and outer and everyting they attach to is also rusted through. Plus it wanted rear arches and all sorts. The rust had gotten it :(

Plus. This way it hasn't cost me a penny and if I sell all the parts I'll be way up. I decided to go back down to 2 cars as the combination of 3 road taxes, insurances and MOT was a bitch every year. Also, now I work from home, the need for an economical car is gone. I would have to save over £600 a year just in petrol for chavscort to pay for itself. That's hard going when um only spending £900 a year in gas on average in the fox!
