I'm painting the woodwork upstairs at Castle Roadkill and am going for White.

One thing I hate is that it goes yellow-ish after a while (caused by lack of U.V light and heat) so my question is :

Has anyone used a White "gloss" paint that has NOT gone off-colour ?

I've been  recommended Dulux trade white and Dulux Satinwood.  Also various Radiator "enamels", too.

I've done some reading on Acrylic paints, also, and wondered if anyone knew anything about these as their availablity seems limited.

EDIT - Don't suggest water-based paints as I HATE them !

oil based paint will yellow in warm dark places,
water based does not...
we have some skirtings in our house that look bright white and it must be 10yrs since they were painted as i havent done them..[dont know what they were painted with though]
there is a paint called "everwhite" but its a waterbased one that requires multiple coats to cover ,

have a root around in here....

Some of the modern white ( exspensive ) gloss paints give a so many year warranty against going off colour.
I'm using the Dulux One Coat and I think it's 5 years ?

Think I'm gonna try the Dulux Satinwood . . . the doors I brought are pre-painted in a satin finish so I'm hoping it'll work nicely.
