Had a blast. Was fooking expensive though! £4-8 for a beer (bottle being the cheaper) and your average meal costing between £15-30 (just for the main course).

needless to say we each bought a litre of Vodka from the Duty Free at Heathrow and hit the little supermarket in Reykjavik for nibbles and mixers.

Still spent approx £300 in 4 days

Almost half of that was on excursions.

Nah it came up with some connection error and spat the card back out.

did the same with the girls but so far i'm the only one that got reamed

Well £60 was stolen.

Chris, is Iceland Chip 'n' PIN only? or can you still sign for card txns in shops etc?

Don't think that is necessary its just an ATM's failure to communicate....computer says no.
