FUBAR

Its a shame to see but I was wondering when the Oldschool of US aftermarket brands would start to feel the wrath... looks like this is the beginning

I'm just praying Spohn stay afloat TBH... there's a load of stuff I want from there & I can't afford it any time soon.
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

VIPER

That sucks....................
The only way out of this mess is to spend some cash.........
Especially the big multimillion £/$ companies that just sit on it and earn more.. Shell BP Bill gates blah blah........

Roadkill

Yeah, I read that last night on the Modded Caddy forum.

A damn shame . . . and, apparently, it came totally 'out of the blue'.

They've actually been expanding over the past year - they now cover a variety of vehicles AND do custom stuff.

If they were in trouble I doubt they'd look to expand . . .

EDGE

this is really changing the world this recession bollocks...

i've not stopped spending money, i think i'm trying to keep the economy going single handedly !!!

HardRockCamaro

Based on the comments in the article there may be more than meets the eye on this...

They were in trouble years ago and got some sort of tax benefit or something from the state/city and there are various remarks about the previous MD.

I suspect it's not all entirely down to the recession, probably the final nail in the coffin.

Not over till the fat lady adminstrator sings...

Sounds like they've laid off all the work force and shafted the suppliers..
