Problem is, i have no money and no clue!

Help?

I have bought a HDMI connector so i can connect my MacBook to my TV, BUT, i don't think i can add a wireless keyboard to my mac, can i?

AFAIK yes you can - i have a similar setup here with a destop PC with a TV output card, wireless LAN adapter and Wireless keyboard/mouse - the keyb & Mouse use a standard USB adapater on the PC ... and i think they are compatable with macs (doesn't use any drivers etc - just plug n play)

You can use the Apple bluetooth keyboard, or any other bluetooth keyboard probably.  Same applies to the mouse.

Some of the Logitech stuff that comes with its own dongle (like not bluetooth) also works.

For the media stuff, bear in mind you have Front Row on the MacBook and can use the Apple remote to control that.  Whatever music and movies are in iTunes will show up on there, along with whatever photos are in iPhoto.

I'd use the apple Bluetooth keyboard. At least you know it'll all just work

my I-phone works well as a mouse pad tbh, but the apple keyboard is £40, and the guys at work think my picture on my tv might not be great.... ? I'm going to wire the MacBook up and see what it looks like I think

The guys you work with are idiots.

well, they aren't computer experts, and certainly don't know about Macs, but i have a 1080p TV, will my 1 year old Macbook be good enough for that?

EDGE

you'd think it should be.. i have NO idea what the output is from the McBook though.... the old pc laptops were lucky to output at 640x480, then later thay could do 800x600. as i said, i havent a clue what the new McBooks output, you can probbaly find out though, or if youve got the cable, just hook i up and see, the numbers are somewhat irrelevant

HardRockCamaro

Your macbook can output up to 1920x1200 which is actually higher resolution than a 1080p tv so it's more than up to it.

Remember, you have a Mac now, not some built down to a price PC laptop Not saying all PC laptops are c**p obviously , but the cheapo ones that loads of people buy and quote are es being half the price of a MacBook, well, are...

EDGE

well.. if it outputs that high it'll be fine...
