While scoping out a new cycle lane route some numbnut in his lorry hit a speed bump wy too fast, the rear doors flung open, smashed through the screen of a parked Mondeo and then flicked it out across the road at the group of cyclists including Mayor Boris:

When you think about it, life and death can come down to seemingly random timing.

A little bit earlier or a little bit later and the outcome could have been completely different.
