I use to get 15 from her to and from work, but that was also going up and down some devon hills

On a run she did 30 no probs

Weather permitting she'll be getting a service (filters / oil / trans fluid etc . . ) this weekend.

I'm also putting on a new set of front brake pads as the old ones are a little low.

I'm also putting on the new drop links as I reckon the old ones are probable MoT failures.

After that she'll be put up for sale because, basically, I need the space and I currently have 'bigger fish to fry'.

Fancy a Rover SD1 or BMW e39 Diesel

I'll take as is, that will save you a job or two

Nah, I'm going back to the two-wheeled route (need the extra space at the moment).

Serviced the Eldo yesterday !

Replaced air filter - the old one looked dirty but generally not bad.

Replaced the oil - the oil looked pretty bad but not terrible.

Replaced the oil filter - deceptively difficult !

Replaced the serp belt - the old one was utterly F*CKED with one quarter of the width shredded clean off !  My guess was that it was the original factory belt.

Changed the trans fluid / filter and gasket - By the looks of the gasket (rigid type) I'd say it was a factory item meaning it was on its original fluid !

She's certainly changing even smoother this morning.

Just need to check / top up the trans fluid later today as the trans takes a whooping 6+ litres to refil !!!

After that I need to fit the new front brake pads (no major rush as they're O.K) and then fit the new sway bar drop links (I'll do them both at the same time).

Next jobs are to try and track down that irritating interior squeak . . . . .

Found it - with assistance.

It's the rear fixings on the main centre console . . . . will investigate further when I get the chance.
