You may remember that a few weeks ago it was reported that a Scottish Hair dresser was caught doing 166mph on a rural road in the highlands

Now being a reformed speeder myself I wouldn't argue that it cannot be justified on a public road but.................

He has been given 9 months in jail and banned for five years for a first offence

If I go round and burgle house, beat you up, steal your car and then crash it at high speed, I wouldn't get a penalty half as bad
The justice system is well fooked up

yeah if he had deliberately beaten someone up i bet he would of got let off

Hmmm, looking at the area on google maps, that speed is totally inapproriate on that type of road and in that area. He deserved a long ban and a mahoosive fine but 9 months in jail as well!!!

I also have no doubt that his time incarcerated will not be an easy one once the inmates find out that he is a hairdresser!

As Martyn said, he should have robbed someone first then he would have got a lighter sentence.

Roadkill

Un-fortunately his 'brush' with the law didn't pay off....

He had a 'close shave', but was 'cut off' at the ludicrous speed in the 'split' end
