The man, who refused to give his name, was looking at real estate in Galveston Texas.

About 3 p.m. a low-flying pelican distracted him as he traveled north on Interstate 45 just south of the hurricane levee near Omega Bay.......OK

The man jerked the wheel, dropped his cell phone, and the car's front tire left the frontage road and entered a muddy patch, which foiled his attempt to maneuver away from the salt water lagoon ( yeah right ).

FUBAR

what the hell, on a dead straight, empty road he just veers off & drives into the lake...

did his phone ring?... or was he getting head at the time & got distracted?   cos there was no reason outside the car for that to happen...
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

despite its 1000BHP, the veyron is supposedly a very easy car to drive..

I'm guessing any car is easy to drive when you're not busy looking for your mobile in the footwell....

but Americans are free!!!

I once questioned the sanity of fitting a car tyre to a Honda Goldwing (you don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out its not a good idea) after someone had posted a youtube vid of them doing it.

When I pointed out that it was going to invalidate their insurance (unsuitable tyre) they commented "maybe in Europe, but here in America we are free!"
