Standard engine is a direct inject 3.6-liter V6 producing 304 hp and 273 pound-feet of torque. Expect 17 mpg city/26 mpg highway when paired with GM's optional Hydra-Matic 6L50 six-speed automatic and 17/25 with the standard Aisin six-speed manual. Both rear- and all-wheel-drive will be available

The yanks will buy it, there's been a fair bit of talk about on the Caddy forums and the CTS is highly rated over there, even by the press.

Motor Trend (or one of those mags) put the CTS-V *ahead* of the BMW M5...

It's a very unflattering shot of the interior with the flash gun, even a German car would look naff under that light

It has quite a nice stereo actually, with 60GB hard drive to store media, ipod control etc etc.
