May be this explains why Vauxhall has 8 shades of Silver out of a total of 11 colours for the new Astra

I wouldn't say a blanket colour for me with a new car, as some colours look so right on some cars (like the burn orange on the last trans ams) but would look so wrong on others (could you imagine a burnt orange lincoln town car??)

Dads tahoe looks fantastic in dark blue - by far the best colour. I generally prefer dark colours on larger cars, but loved the white on the Camaro.
