Well, hubby went to Dunsfold Park today for the filming of an episode of Top Gear  Being shown on the 3rd January.  He was invited as part of Help for Heroes (who he works for) along with a number of wounded soldiers.  They were invited for the episode as Dunsfold Park held a wings and wheels day in aid of the charity.

Here are a few piccies he managed to get :)

No I didn't go - grrrrr.  It is normally the case but as this was part of a cheque presentation to Help for Heroes.  He managed to get a VIP pass to Dunsfold Park and therefore access to Top Gear because of this.

Tickets to the set are like Hens teeth. Join a long list if you want to go. Good on him for his work with HFH though!

Did you not see this weeks episode Martin? They addressed the Daily Mails issue with the 'couples' story in true Top Gear fashion.

VIPER

Managed to get tickets in 05 when the SRT-10 came to the UK.. Also done the wings and wheels with my viper last year good day and a great cause..

Incursus

Was good to see they liked the Range Rover this week.  Good for business that

Did you see him playing with the Terrain control switch?  Thats mine that is

Not a huge fan but the inside of those Range Rovers looked lush. Is that true about the switch gear being large for use with gloves? I heard about a Toyota pickup truck where all the heater controls and that are fully usable with rigger gloves, thought that was pretty neat.

If you ask me the oversized 4x4 controls seem a bit redundant in a Range Rover 99.999% of which will never go any further off road than parking on the curb outside a school...

My boss has an 08 Range Rover Vogue diesel which is pretty awesome though.

It is common for pro equipment to have chunky controls designed to be operated with gloves, for example pro level cameras.

The pre 10 MY stuff was designed chunky.  New stuff not so much
