The spohn headers arnt supposed to fit but some people have got them on.

Do you know what mods are required ?

Quoting: Rocky
Just dont go with headman headers i dont recommend them.

I need the larger primaries (to match the LT1's odd ports) so they're not even an option.

Crap.

That means dropping the tank.

Sorry mate, It's that or fill it with fuel...

The Autometer gauges use old school potential divider circuits (rather than microcontrollers which would make then universal) and so has to be matched to the senders.

Would that work, too ?

Yes, if it's empty now and we brim it...

I'd prefer that approach, to be honest . . . It'll need filling up soon-ish anyway . . .

Be aware that if we fill it up and it turns out the way I think it is going to, and you still intend to use the Autometer gauges, you will have to change the sender and hence drop the tank out...

I'll be chasing the serp belt today, too . . .

The first one I got was a tad too short but I've exchanged it for a much better match . . T'is now sorted and fitted.

I ain't posting pictures of a bloody serp belt !

I did win the cork to make the valve cover gaskets out of, today, so when I get that and fit the valve covers I'll take a picture of both.

The 1st one has to be worth a punt, the 2nd at £600 will a be a bit rich for RK

Roadkill

I'd be very interested in the second one . . not only has it got the flat bonnet but also the GFX that I like . . . .

Edit - anyone fancy going halves ?

Don't mind them . . . I'm just very concios of time at the moment and want to push this along . . .

Really? They look awful... The cresent on the back end of the needle makes them look like they should be on a wild west locomotive....
