Shocks / struts arrived yesterday

Glad they made it without issue!!

Shiny things !

Well - not quite - yep, they're in one piece.

Can't wait to fit.

they did look all nice n shiny on the dining room floor

Roadkill

Uber productive day on Saturday !!!

Dropped the axle off the car, stripped the brakes, panhard, LCA, and brake pipes off.

Removed the (nearly new) rear springs and shocks and cleaned them up as I'm sticking them on ebay, too.

The axle's in the Chav'scort waiting to go to either Hauser or Websters to have the LSD fitted . . .

She's looking very sorry for herself at the moment but this is the beginning of something major and I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Piccy's to follow . . . . . .

FUBAR

Nothing like a 3rd gen with 1/2 its wheels missing to keep the neighbours happy hehe  Make sure it annoys Councillor Carruthers LOL

Were the bits & tools scattered about for effect or did they just land that way...

They just went that way.

I had to drag the axle out with Panhard/LCA/Torque arm still attached.

I dragged it over the other side of the front garden to start stripping it down, needing space to roll it over to get to the various nuts/bolts.
(Hence the blow torch and large ball pein hammer !)

Mister Admin . . .

Can you edit out the "- Stroker ?" part of this topic's title, please ?

This thread will be getting more of an airing now, and the plan is certainly not to stroke her . . .

FUBAR

I have a very similar list m8, although most of it I probably won't get for the IROC anymore because its not really what I want from the car.

The plan for the Camaro is rear-end this year, front end next year . . . Some body work in between.

Very soon I'll disappear under the thing with a wire brush . . . and some por15 . . .

Mmm, The coal-miner look.

Yup been there done that LOL, just there was no need at all for a wire brush

In fairness mine's very good . . . . the brush is to dislodge the trail of soot from the exhaust.

FUBAR

True, I know when we had the engine out at your work you were impressed then at how it was underneath.
