May be an interesting read for you?

Starting with the very first comment "Rusty italian shite..."

Just like I do not need to sit in the middle of a bonfire to know that it will hurt. I do not need to own an Alfa to know that it would be traumatic.

hmmm... the VW site was really slow then broke down...... no irony there...

-edit- never actualy managed to open it... timed out

i jest, i just! (probably the connection here, work has been having some IT issues today)

finaly managed to open it, TBH i'd say thats a really fair representation of ownership, i'd actualy agree with just about everything said there.

the big issue isn't the cars themselves, its when people take them to back street garages who simply dont know what they are doing, they aren't ford fiestas, and will bite you if you treat them as such. respect them, and they are extremely rewarding and as reliable as any other car out there.

rust stopped being an issue about 15 years ago..yet people still bang on about it, yet how many rusty Mercedes do you see? plenty. in fact when Ray cut the camaro up to pro street it there was rust, and it was only a few years old..
