I'm finally going the the IOM TT races in June 2011  

What could be better and and no speed limits

That's one of my final three vehicle destinations crossed off

So about the Le Mans 24hr race and driving the Nurburgring

Le Mans is one i really want to do but takes a heck of a lot of organising as it all gets very busy around the track.

After reading how much it costs to go round and how much extra it costs should the unfortunate happen, I'll keep the 'ring happening on my ps2

Baz ( forum name Viper ) does Le Mans every year, there are packages you can buy which include ferry, tolls and a tent already erected at the camp site

Well I did say " drive " , I ain't no racing driver and I haven't got a sports car, I think the biggest risk would be getting taken out by some other ruddy idiot !

nah its about le-mans and the ring....

ive done le-mans twice, driven there,once, its not that expensive..unless ya get caught speedin...

ive driven round the ring too, [thats only 19 euros..] ...in my v70

Will be doing some researching for 2011 I reckon! I got quite hooked on this years race. Eurosport with their off and on coverage, plus the live timing screen on my laptop, plus the thread on PH about Mansell. Only got an hours fishing in on the Sunday morning...
